Prairie View A&M Panthers to host Pine Bluff, Arkansas Golden Lions on Monday, January 9
If you're one of those college basketball fans who like to watch games with lots of shots and high scores, then this game isn't for you. But we might bet on you when Prairie View A&M (6-10, 5-9 ATS) take on Pine Bluff, Arkansas (5-11, 5-7 ATS) on Monday, Jan. 9.
Since 2020, the NFL playoffs have operated according to the following rules:
1. The four division champions of the AFC and NFC rank first through fourth in their respective conferences based on their overall regular-season record. The top seed from each conference advances to the second round, known as the Divisional Round.
2. Each conference is assigned three wild card teams (non-division winning teams with best record remaining) and they are divided into five or six spots based on their regular season record.
3. Replay: The home field advantage of each round is determined by the seed number, not the ranking. The NFL playoff groupings are not a fixed system, and the outcome of the wild-card game determines the divisional matchup.
4. The lowest remaining seed in each meeting goes to the first seed (bye), and the second lowest remaining seed faces the second highest remaining seed.
5. For conference tournaments, the home team goes to the highest remaining seed in each conference.
The game between Southwestern Athletic Conference opponents is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET at the HO Clemmons Arena. Prairie View A&M is the 3.5-point road favorite in Monday's college basketball odds despite just two wins on the road this year.
The Panthers, who have won two of their three games into the new year, will look to continue Monday night against the Golden Lions. As the favorite at -162 odds to win, Prairie View A&M has a 61.83% implied probability of winning to win another W, while Pine Bluff, Arkansas has a 42.74% probability of winning at +134, outright rise.
