Revenue at Detroit's three bricks-and-mortar commercial casinos rose 2.6 percent in January from a year earlier, despite a sharp decline in sports betting revenue.

Total revenue for the month was $103.5 million, up from $100.9 million in January 2022, but 5.8% lower than December's $109.9 million.
Table games and slot machines accounted for nearly all of January's revenue, totaling $103.4 million, up 4.4 percent from a year earlier.
